Roostify is looking for an experienced technical writer to elevate our technical documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write external and internal user-facing documentation and guides for Roostify’s products, features, and APIs
- Document standards, guidelines, and best practices for engineers and product managers
- Own and organize documentation and make it easily discoverable
- Maintain content quality through curation and content performance analysis
- Push Roostify forward by implementing new ways to deliver, author, analyze, and interact with technical content
- Provide support for release notes, marketing documents, and other projects as needed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3 or more years of technical writing experience in an enterprise software company
- Excellent communicator and storyteller, able to explain technical topics effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
- Thoughtful and friendly voice with impeccable grammar, spelling, editing, and proofreading skills
- You can understand Roostify’s product with a high degree of technical depth
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
- Demonstrable experience with APIs, Zendesk, Swagger, and modern scripting languages
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
