The Role:
Minted is seeking a Seasonal HR Generalist to support our seasonal workforce. This role will work closely with our Customer Operations teams, as they ramp up toward our holiday season.  As part of the People team, this HR Generalist role is to serve as the main point of contact for seasonal employees, acting as an interface and liaison with the rest of the People team.In addition, this role is responsible for partnering with and guiding organizational leaders and seasonal employees on employee relations and other related issues within the seasonal remote workforce. This role will report to the HR Business Partner and will partner with other members of the Seasonal People Team and the leaders within Customer Operations. This is a temporary Full-Time role and we are looking for someone to start in early September 2020 with a January 2021 end date.

You will:

    • Partner with leaders at all levels to proactively manage and motivate their team members and provide advice and guidance on diverse and challenging employee issues
    • Assess and anticipate organizational needs at all levels and work across the People team in partnership with the HR Business Partner and HR Operations team to develop and deliver integrated solutions.
    • Champion and role model Minted’s culture, values & mission, finding ways to continually strengthen them in the seasonal team.
    • Analyze seasonal employee data and trends to guide decision making and recommendations
    • Ensures compliance with corporate policies, government regulations and statutory requirements.
    • Provide training support for leaders related to performance feedback, coaching techniques, or documentation of performance issues.
    • Assist with remote seasonal onboarding and offboarding efforts partnering with the Recruiting & HR Team, Dept Managers, and IT

    • Always ready to “roll up your sleeves” to get things done
    • An excellent and influential communicator in both written and verbal formats
    • Knowledgeable in Bay Area, CA and US HR-related policies and law

You have:

    • 5 years experience working in Human Resources
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Experience using an applicant tracking system and HRIS (bonus points for experience with Lever, Sapling, or Paylocity)
    • Experience working with a call center or field team
    • Interest in and prior exposure to key HR areas including performance management, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, employee relations
