Copywriter with a PR and Social Media background needed to support our telecommunications client. This is an offsite remote assignment supporting a corporate marketing and sales team up to 15 hours a week for the next 6 months starting February 17.
In this role the Copywriter will work in tandem with a Social Media Coordinator and Sr. Manager, Social Media in a content production capacity. Your day-to-day as a Copywriter will consist of: social media editorial across three brands, producing base content/themes and transforming into cohesive Social writing, editing and uploading copy to Sprout, a Social Media management platform.
Background and skill set required:
– Bachelor’s degree is desired. Major in Journalism, Communications or Media preferred.
– 2-4 years’ experience as a writer – journalism, blogging, web and/or Social Media writer, communications/PR or other long form writing. Familiarization with writing for the entertainment industry is a plus.
– Write social messaging and version by brand and platform – 3 brands and 9 major handles. Weekly, there can be 30-35 posts and tweets for one brand; however cadence can fluctuate.
