The role:

This role will be responsible for shifting content at Convert into the future. If you are interested in crafting a B2B SaaS content strategy that grows traffic, leads, authority, and brand trust with a well documented foundation of what’s already worked, this could be an interesting role for you.

A normal day looks like:

  • Brainstorming with our Editor.
  • Support and coaching from the Marketing Lead Link
  • Collaborating with the Distribution Optimizer and SEO Ninja on backlinking strategy and optimization opportunities.
  • Conducting keyword research to find opportunities Convert can capitalise on.
  • Keeping the Editorial Calendar updated with post topics that apply to all three stages of the Buyer’s Journey.
  • Creating 10x style cornerstone content.
  • Making sure the content has high E-A-T by taking a journalistic approach and including quotes from subject matter experts both inside & outside Convert.
  • Using data like blog performance for leads & MQLs, to update Content Strategy.
  • Growing blog traffic through organic search.

Job requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who is passionate about understanding how B2B buyers take decisions and how value first content can influence that.
  • Experience understanding the content funnel for a software that costs > 10,000 USD per year.
  • Someone who is data guided and thinks critically. You use tools such as Google Analytics to quantify performance and use it to continually improve.
  • Someone who is intensely curious about improving outputs and trying new things.
  • A passion for experimentation and an affinity for working in sprints.
  • Someone that has a strong personality and can push back, but also recognises the opportunity to learn from everything and thrives on feedback.
  • Experience leveraging SEO as a way to grow blog traffic and confidence, using tools such as SEMRush and AHREFS to do this.

Bonus points:

  • Someone that has experience documenting & scaling a blog production process.
  • Someone with the ability to understand what Google terms as authoritative content.

Salary:

  • Up to $35US per hour

Hours:

  • 25 hours per week

Status:

  • Independent Contractor

Timezone:

  • Any timezone but flexibility to attend some meetings and collaborate with the team as needed.
