ShaneDutka.com is a website and authoritative resource to learn about blogging. I myself am a former accountant turned successful SEO and blogger. I’ve personally launched blogs in many unrelated niches having sold 3 of them over the last 12 months and 7 in my portfolio growing right now.
My Goal
Now that I’ve had a reasonable amount of success as a blogger, my goal is to help empower more people to start and become successful at building blogs and making a living off of them just as I did.
There’s a lot of bad information filled with biased opinions and rehashed advice. My aim is to provide insightful, valuable, and actionable content for aspiring bloggers to learn from.
What I’m Looking For
I’m looking to hire 1-2 writers who can ghostwrite for me and contribute a minimum of 3-4 articles @ 1500-1800 word per post per week (so about 8,000 words per week).
I may also ask you to create e-books, guides, and write other material to help train up aspiring bloggers.
This position will start as a freelance part-time gig with room to grow into a more full-time relationship and potential promotion to full editor with attribution on the site.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Has had some level of success as a blogger through ranking content on Google search and making money from that content as an affiliate or through display ads
- Can be flexible and adjust to the needs of the business quickly
- Asks questions when they don’t understand something
- Can handle critical feedback and adjust accordingly
- Is tech savvy (i.e., understands Google docs, wordpress, etc)
Compensation
My budget is around $1,000 per month for 15 articles per month but negotiable DOE.
Do you need to have blogging experience?
Yes, it is required that you have some experience making money with blogs because you will be ghostwriting for me and helping me create content around the website.
