Do you love gaming and/or watching anime? Are you also a good writer? If yes, we need you.
We’re currently looking for a gaming writer and an anime writer to join our team. You get to write about what you love, and get paid to do it too.
Anime writer:
- The applicants need to have a good working pop culture knowledge of all things anime.
Gaming writer:
- The applicants need to have their fingers on the pulse of the games industry, ready to write about everything from the latest releases to trending games on Twitch and interesting indie oddities.
We’re not a typical games site, so outside of the big games in a given month we’ll also want you to cover more niche topics like browser games, PICO-8 games, cloud gaming, or cool quirky games you can find on itch.io.
In addition, applicants must be:
- Proficient in the English language.
- Proficient in WordPress and able to generate your own article ideas.
- Follow editorial guidelines
- Prepared to make edits as needed and be able to meet publication deadlines.
- Communicate well and reply to comments promptly
- Applicant must have prior blogging experience.
The successful applicant will be expected to contribute 2 articles (800 – 1000 words) every week, and be able to pitch their own ideas as well as be up for taking on work commissioned by the editor.
This is a remote / work-from-home opportunity, so you can be based anywhere in the world.
