OpGen Media is a Marketing Operations and Demand Generation partner for leading B2B tech companies such as Oracle, DocuSign, Workfront and more. We’re a HubSpot Platinum Partner Agency specializing in SaaS and B2B Services businesses, helping our clients solve complex marketing and lead generation challenges.

We are looking for a dynamic Account Manager who can lead our client engagements for our Startup/Mid-Market division. This person will ultimately be the primary point of contact between our clients and the OpGen Media solutions team. You should have experience in B2B demand generation and marketing along with strong organization and communication abilities. Beyond leading and managing existing accounts, this role will be responsible for developing pitches to extend the continued value delivery for each account, with the goal of increasing renewals. This role will report directly to the CEO.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage client-facing projects and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Define, create, and manage a schedule for customer and internal team communication
  • Manage customer deliverables across a solutions team of 2 and occasional contractors
  • Run customer status meetings and be the glue between the solutions team and each client
  • Contribute to writing and reviewing statements of work and change orders as needed
  • Manage the day-to-day of your accounts, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Ensure that our clients are successful and meeting their goals (i.e. you’ll be the internal champion for each client and their main POC)
  • Play a role in the execution of client work where needed
  • Work with the OpGen Media solutions team and client to negotiate and extend contracts

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and solutions-oriented
  • A passion for delivering projects to clients’ satisfaction
  • Experience working remotely or buy-in to remote working principles
  • Extremely detailed and organized (bonus points for Asana experience)
  • Marketing automation experience (bonus points for HubSpot)
  • Comfortable working in a small team where we’re still figuring many things out
  • Strong analytic and reporting capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 3-5 years experience working in a fast-paced technology-driven environment

We are looking for someone who is personable, wants to see their clients succeed (and share in the upside with an added performance comp variable), and enjoys working with B2B tech companies. While we certainly don’t expect you to be an expert in all of the above, we are looking for someone who has relevant B2B marketing experience and can speak to clients on those topics, recommend best practices and fresh ideas, and can manage client expectations.
