As part of the product team, you will be working in an agile team delivering high-quality web and mobile products internally (for EAs) and externally (for clients).
We are building a global team with a remote-first culture, so being able to work independently and collaborate effectively are a must.
High-level Responsibilities
- Discover: Work with product managers, user experience designers, and others in the organisation to understand requirements and feasibility.
- Deliver: Use agile processes to deliver the digital products that power Athena.
- Maintain: Provide support, bug fixes, and feature updates to our products.
Specific Responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate Full-stack Engineer to help us build products for our EAs and customers. This is a key role within the organisation, with lots of growth potential and opportunities to be involved in the strategic direction of the company.
- Architect, build, maintain and manage our web and mobile products as we scale
- Write high-quality, testable, maintainable code
- Share knowledge, promote best practices, and collaborate with other engineers
- Suggest improvements to engineering practices and processes
- Create user experiences across multiple platforms that delight users
- Collaborate with our platform team to ensure you have the tools you need to work effectively

- Delivery against roadmap dates
About You
To be successful you will need a combination of problem-solving, technical, and communication skills. The following experience and skills will be important for success in this role:
- 2+ years working in a similar role and/or a degree in a computer-related field
- A full-stack engineer who is “T-shaped”, with a breadth of experience across the stack and deep knowledge in front-end development
- Experience architecting and building digital technologies at scale
- Solid understanding of databases and APIs
- Passionate about working with designers to create great digital experiences for users
- Strong programming fundamentals, ideally in JavaScript / TypeScript and React
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
- Great problem solving and collaboration skills
- Ambitious, quick to learn, and takes ownership
